Using the planning form I provide all my clients, you can make plenty of specific requests ahead of time, as well as simply listing the styles/genres you like. For the times when I'm choosing the music, I use my own good sense in combination with your specified songs/genres to read the crowd. Also, any time a customer requests a song I don't already own, I buy it.
